Rezvaneh “Shadi” Rezapour

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Science at Drexel University and the founder and director of the SocialNLP Lab. My work sits at the intersection of natural language processing, computational social science, and human-centered AI.

I approach language as a window into how people navigate challenges, build communities, and express values and beliefs. My research combines computational methods with theory and methods from the social sciences, public health, and human-computer interaction.

I received my PhD in Information Sciences from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2021.
